can i use bondo glaze over z-grip....

well im shaving my truck and next week im painting it.... i have a gallon of z-grip but no glaze. i have to use a glaze i can get locally cuz i live in the middle of nowhere. so i got oreillys, walmart, and advance thats it.. paint store is an hour away but i dont have time to go there.....

will it turn out good?

bondo brand is good product just has a bad rep cause of improper use just do everythang the directions say and you will be fine

yea dont use the red shit. id get an actual glaze i dont trust anything named "bondo" brand at all anymore it shrinks & absorbs like a mother fucker. the glaze ends up absorbing paint & primer and causes premature cracking & flaking of paint

i use metal glaze made by evercoat... works good... deffinatly no red can bondo JUNK! idk if id use that shit doing hacker whole sale work it just sucks

just get some fiber glass resin and mix it in some bondo. then put in regular hardener presto instant glaze.

just goto O'reillys , and they can order you the Evercoat glaze , they can get most anything bodywork you want.... i too live hour away from paint supply store, dont always have time to get stuff when i run out , so i run to O'reillys and place an order, get it same day or next most of the time..
and most dif stay away from cheap Bondo stuff... its hard to sand , shrinks , cracks and etc....

ok i a m gettin ready to shave some stuff also what is the purpose for the glaze. and this process is after u do your bodywork before paint.
