max...i sent a topic into fabricate this but no reply as usual...i want to run new lowered spindles and be able to bolt a common setup like 5x4.75 bolt pattern to it but the only thing i come up with is s10's...i've got a '90 isuzu spacecab and i'm building from scratch so stock doesn't factor in here...would it be possible to run isuzu lowered spindles and change the bolt pattern on them to s10?...i'm using a factory s10 rear so it would be nice to keep the same pattern on both ends!

You have to give the guys at MiniTruckin' a break. It takes a few months to answer the questions in the mag and there isn't anybody to answer the letters as they come in.

I'm not sure if there is enought room to drill the hub for that. There isn't any reason that you couldn't start with the S-10 stuff tho. What are you trying to accomplish?

The verticle mounted uni-balls do limit steering, but that is the trade-off, travel or steering? The 7/8" uni-balls have 27 deg of steering in each direction, that's a total of 54 deg from lock to lock.

sorry to jack your thread bro...seems like this has become a max answer session...i just wanted to keep the 5x4.75 bolt pattern so it matched the rear but i didn't want cookie cutter control arms for mine tho...not bashing anyone so don't think i don't give mad props to the guys bustin ass to build them..just want somethin unique to my truck that would be correct in geometery and easy for maintenance/repairs in the future...

i know max is the man as far as it comes to suspension geometry, and i would love to learn from him. but i have one question about these. how strong are those? i know that welding on cast isnt good, but i know that max wouldnt put anything out that he doesnt trust out on the market because he has a very large name to live up to.
