i asked lock if i got a set of wheels to him what was the turn around and he said he would start them when he got them and have them shipped back that afternoon.. so there is not that much to just basic maching with the proper tools and dyes ... and if it only takes 8 minutes a wheels how can you justfiy that kinda coin to do it, not like you have used that much power to do it and machine more than likey did it for you .. i understand machines cost money but if your doing it and turning a ass load of wheels out there has to be a breaking point some where, i also understand everypne is out to make money but i am like mark i have scrap together every coin i got to do something right now, due to the recession that they say we are not in hell i have not drove my trucik in almost 4 months cause it cost so damn much to fill it up .. lol but when i get my wheels this december i will just have to save up find a place to get it done if i dont get lock to do it ..

Ya, that don't look right to me. There is no safety hump on the inside for the bead. They may work and all but it just don't look right. And that is just my opinion nothing more.

I'm surprised Trevor hasn't chimed in yet.

Ususally he's one of the first few people to respond to these threads.

I am at the point I dont care anymore about people asking how to do it. If I have heard it once I have heard it a THOUSAND times.

If someone is inclined enough and has the proper tools to try it then more power to them. We have mulit-million dollar machines and other tooling machines that make this stuff happen and I also still have the first machine that I started doing this with which cost me all of 30 bucks.

So in a way, I asked the "How to mill a 22.5" question without asking it. I put my mind and a bit of money to it and perfected it.

But you have to admit, it was only a matter of time before it became 'public knowledge', right?

I mean, would you agree that when the finished product is immediately shown to anyone who sees a set of milled wheels, it's kind of hard to keep it a total secret?

I don't blame you/think you were wrong for keeping it to yourself for so long, I'm just sayin...

I say just man up and pay to have it done ladies.. It's easiest when you buy your wheels and tires and all from the same place. You can just go pick them up and bolt em on.. That's what I did and I'm yet to have a problem.

Trevor I still need to talk to you about maybe doin a custom cut on my 24's..

Holla at your boy nukka......lol

As I see it it's just like a paint job..

You COULD do it yourself.. But what would the results be?

I couldn't count the times someone's asked me how much to paint their "Bubble" and I tell them $2500 and up and they choke... You want it done right? If not take that shit to Macco and you'll be back here whining to me in a month when it's coming off..

Having wheels machined is the same thing.. Yes you could probally do it yourself... But... Would it be right and work or would it kinda work and kinda be right?

Is that one shown one of locks?
