What truck got you started?

I started in 1989 with a 1985 nissan 720. My dad convinced me to build a mini because there were very few around in 1989. I wanted a bug, but bought a mini instead and have been at it ever since. I don't have one now, but hope to get back to it before too long. There weren't too many around except the few from MT magazine. There was a custom shop in Melbourne, FL, the owner had a nissan hardbody extra cab with suicide doors, a topper and a ton of speakers. It said temple of boom on the windshield. His parents had the ame truck with a tilt bed. those 2 got me to buy my hardbody in 1990.

My 1999 Ford F150. There was nothing real special about it but it was the first auto I had that looked really good. It was a white extended cab and it had a roll pan and it was lowered and had 22's on it and custom exhuast and it was quick to. Everybody I know loved it and I won a couple shows with it. That was my baby but I had to sell it. Plus if I never had my truck and I wouldn't have got into a car club I would have never met my wife. So to this truck I THANK YOU.

THis is the truck that got me started.. I saw the truck off the frame and all the work going into the truck so I knew this was what I wanted to do to my nissan..

should see the nissan in person...very sweet quality built truck. Chris is "OK" too

i would have to say dustin haven's box style sdime or matt longs blazer eventhough ive been around them all my life bec of my dad ,these are the 2 i remember and remember havin to have one
