bonding fiberglass to plastic bumper....?

hey guys im shaving my bumper (license plate box) does anyone know of any type of product that is made just for fiberglass to plastic? ive found some product but im just wondering what some of you guys are using...thanks!

3m automix 8115 panel bond worx great,let it dry real good over night.you can grit and sand it like body filler just harder LORD FUSOR has some SMC bonding productt to

I would not use fiberglass, I would go with something like Larry said some sort of 3M Panel Bond would work best.

right, dont use fiberglass...use panel bond or some kind of plastic repair.

Take it to a bumper repair shop, they will platic weld you a piece of compatable plastic into it. Unless you want a line showing around your plate box, this is the only way to do it right. The last one i did cost me around $300.

ouch 300 bucks sounds kinda pricey... i have the 3m 8115 but im kinda hesitating about using it on my bumper with fiberglass... althought i believe i used that on my gold integra and held on like a champ...

$300 is about the same price as reconditioning a bumper (fixing cracks, and damage in a cover). Its worth is when you get your car out on a hot day and dont see a line where your filler panel went.

I wouldnt say its the only way. I have done a few plastic repairs with the 3M panel bond and have yet to see a line if the rest of the body work is done corretly.
