Damn right Jaydaddy! Some punk gets beligerant with me I don't mind letting him tote the ass whipping I hand him around for the rest of the weekend for everyone else to see. The problem is that when you and I do that it makes us look like asses and is one more bad image for the scene. All of these guys come with their friends and there is usually at least one guy somewhat sober and if he would just tell them when they are going to far we wouldn't have to have this dicussion.

The majority of the people i see at shows that are acting like fools are the young ones that cant handle their alcohol.
Im not a big drinker and if i do drink i dont get hammered. It would be nice to see a show without the booze.

plain and simple; grow up!!!!!!!!!! It isn't the hotels fault the cops were doing their jobs. The people who put these shows on bust their asses for you. All your doing in the long run is ruining another great show. Pretty soon there will be no shows at all, and it will be your fault not the cops or anyone else.

From the promoter side of the house and a long time minitrucker (1987) as much as I love doing shows, I will stop doing them if we don't have fun with some level of respect. Now with that said my club is known for being party animals, so I challenge each club to have a couple of people stay sober and help control members at shows.
These events are not free and fun to put together especially after we have retards screw it up.
If you are a retard or have a history of screwing things please don't come to meltdown.

I think Booze free is the way to go. or hold the show on the outskirts of town and camp out. Keep the hotels far away.

The camping thing is always a good idea. Who cares if a drunk idiot trashes his own tent and has to sleep outside!

you can make the shows booze free all you want, but there is no way to keep the booze out of the hotels. we always find out if its a dry county first, and if so, we bring our booze with us.
