Suggestions for our scene

Don't know if this has been posted yet but instead of continuous bitching about shit, lets get suggestions on how to fix the shit. So how can we keep people from destroying things that make us all look bad as a family. I do not want to hear one bit of bitching in this thread. I want suggestions only

Stand up for what you believe. Treat others as you would like to be treated. When in public remember that you are the minitruckin scene. If you see someone doing something stupid let them know, you cannot complain if you stand back and do nothing.

On a side note please keep this thread headed in the right direction.

How about the getting wasted and acting like morons at the hotels after shows? That makes us all look real good....

But seriously, there has been a recent influx of snobby punks who buy already bagged trucks, think they are hot sh*t.. and causing trouble and making the scene look bad.

Be nice.The police don't want problems.When problems happen for them they usually rule with a iron hand.Its always been that way,this is not new.Hotels don't like to be torn up.They call the law.Whats new if you were in Dodge city dealing with Wyatt Earp in the olden days,the rules were the same get out of line and suffer the punishment being dealt.

I think everyone should go to one of the big classic cars shows. Maybe a Rod Run in Pigeon Forge or a Super Chevy show. Those shows bring in twice the people that ours do and they don't have near the problems we do. It is all about being respectful of the towns we invade. Most of the people in these towns already feel inconvenienced during the show weekends and making asses of ourselves only makes it worse. So if we could just show up, act somewhat civilized, do some cruising I don't think we would have near the problem. Most people don't mind drunk people, just loud obnoxious drunk people. These are just some of my suggestions on the subject.

plain and simple; grow up!!!!!!!!!! It isn't the hotels fault the cops were doing their jobs. The people who put these shows on bust their asses for you. All your doing in the long run is ruining another great show. Pretty soon there will be no shows at all, and it will be your fault not the cops or anyone else.

Make show 21+ would also be a big help.

The problem with a 21+ show is that it will deter some of the younger guys who are respectful and who have great talent and ideas. I think if we would just step up and say something to these guys who are acting like idiots it would go a long way. I'm a very outspoken person and I don't have a problem with doing that. I will admit to even having had it done to me when I was young and dumb and I figured if someone was calling me out on it then I was probably making a pretty big a** of myself. Now there are still going to be the guys that are going to be dicks when you say something to them but it's better than saying nothing at all. There is nothing wrong with getting drunk and having a good time, just do it with a little respect for the other people you are affecting.

nothin wrong with gettin trashed and partying it up. the problem comes form people not handling their shit and start actina ass to be cool. your not cool dickwads your retard and imma start beatin the shit outta people that do that kinda shit like tear down memorial trees and shit like that
