i had questions about that too, but he said the only time it affected steering or handling was turning all the way to the right or left. If i ever get it running again, i'll let you guys know how it works out.

and what is castor? (this is why i did'nt try to do any of this shit, i'm far from knowledgeable about this stuff) And right now the uppers are just mocked in, i still have to put in the stock bolts and shims and stuff, they're just tied down right now with temp bolts so we could test fit the wheels.

Castor is the angle that the spindle is leaned back or sometimes even forwards. What it does is helps to stabilize steering and pull the wheels back straight when you come out of a turn and let off the wheel.

for example like a motorcycle. the handle bars are pulled away from the center of the tire. if they were in the middle or right over the wheel you couldn't steer worth shit.also when your going down the road in your truck and you let your hands off the wheel and the truck still goes straight for a little while. if you had 0 caster the wheels wouldn't stay straight when you did that. but maybe it prolly wont hurt your castor at all.

three alignment dimensions castor, camber, and toe.....

josh, no i still have the alignment shims, the upper arms are just mocked up right now. And ask RussD about the water traps. If i understand him correctly, he said most of the water gets into the system after the tank because the air expands in the tank then cools, and that's where you get condensation (water). Like i said before, i asked the dude if it would affect my steering and handling, and he said only on a super tight turn one way or the other. He's done it a few times before, so i'm going to trust him. Also, he's the best around here. Seth, would i need to put the shims back in? The pass side only had like 2 for front and back, the driver's side had i think 5 in front and 6 in back.

i have shims too but they actually serve a purpose now instead of add more for less camber now its more shims more camber like it should but s-10s are gay like that.

And as for the water traps i woulda just put drains on my tank instead of spending the money on the traps but yea i guess youll never have water in your tanks but whats the fun in not draining 2 gallons of water outta your tank a week? lol WELCOME TO WASHINGTON: "Bring An Umbrella" all n all bro good progress looks like reall clean work. late

well, i only had 4 ports per tank, they were all taken up, and i did'nt want to have to try to weld a bung in there, plus i already spent the money and time putting them on, so oh well. guess my valves and bags will be dry!!

BTW, mike, looks like you're running the same gauges i am. I'm putting mine in the 3 gauge pod a pillar that i'm going to have to make work.
