hey everyone, i am looking for a cool hood 2 go on my 89 yota. showdown accessories makes a cowl hood and hannegan fiberglass makes one with a scoop but it requires hood pins. is there anyone who knows a place for me 2 get a hood? i would like a steel one if i could find it. i would even buy a used one if someone wanted to get rid of theirs' (yeah right, worth a try) any help is appreciated.
I THINK YOU NAMED ABOUT YOUR ONLY OPTIONS IN THE AFTERMARKET WORLD THE ONLY OPTION LEFT WOULD BE MAKE YOUR OWN.
GOOD LUCK
Yeah, if your talking spending the kind of money it takes to buy an aftermarket w/ cowl, just go down to a qualified independent sheetmetal shop and have them cut the template for you. If you have a welder that is. Find local help if you don't. You'd be surprised what a couple of bucks in someone's hands'll do. You could probably get the sheetmetal and get it cut for less than $100, another $60 to get someone to weld it together and weld it to the hood. I'd do it all for $200
dont use an unlimited products hood thats all I can say mine sucks
IAN'S RIGHT UNLIMITED SUCKS I'VE HEARD HORROR STORY AFTER HORROR STORY ABOUT THERE HOODS,IF YOU DON'T BUILD YOUR OWN AND DO GO AFTERMARKET GO SHOWDOWN THERE HOODS FIT
