Im getting 12 now with a carb and ALOT more horsepower so its really not that unreasonalbe

maybe so! just think, if i would take a good dump, i may even get to 15-17 mpg due to the less weight!!! i love it when people say there is no way i am getting the mpg i am. they are usually people who know absoultly not a damn thing about newer model injected engines. wake up people, just beacuse your 70's model 454 with a carb only gets 5 mpg, it doesnt mean they all do!!

i am planning to do it within the next month or 2. i will post pics and gains for all you guys to see! my friend truck is bad ass for a big truck! i am not doing the cam and lifters, just the banks setup, injectors, and the retuned pcm.

I live in NEBRASKA soccer moms drive 3/4 crew cab pickups. I can walk out of wrestling practice and see 4 brand new ones. Plus all the customers that got them to pull their boats. None of them get crap for mileage.

and i bet that they are all 4x4 too huh? and what do they consider crap for mileage? so people just whine about mileage because the 454 dont get the mileage their honda does. i know what mileage i am getting, and so does everyone else who chimned in on this thread. just calling it how i see it
