supercharged 454

i was just wondering how well will a vortec not the older ones with tbi like wat i have. like 98 or 99.will move and tow with a super charger on it and how bad of mileage will it get per gallon.....the one that i have now is doing 8 on the city and 10 on the high way and is killing me.... b cuz i drive 325 miles every week..to go to school.. i was also thinking about a ford diesel but im not a big fan of fords..

It's only 30 miles or so one way. Nothing is going to make it get that good of mileage.

I say throw the supercharger on it cause its' cool.

But if you want mileage take the money the supercharger costs and buy a small car for commuting.

yeah i agree... dont spend the money on that to try and improve MPG,. get a moped or something..lol keep your foot outta the gas pedal so much my 2000 with a 454 is getting 14 on the highway and 11 when i tow my s-10 @75 mph
