I'm sure that people are going to buy those arms and love them, but at what point does it become overkill and companys are charging there customers for stuff like ridiculously oversized steel or balljoints that can rotate 360 degrees. I'm not targeting a particular company.

eh, its only overkill if its not what you want. Everyones standards and interpritation of the term "over kill" means something different. But, obviously it will only stop when everyone decides unaimously what overkill is, and ware it stops. As long as there are people that want a certain product, there will be someone thare to charge them for it.

Its all consumer.

Maybe I should start making dies instead, lol. I was just curious, I think that with the correct tools one could make them for alot cheaper than that.

I had a minitruck customer order a custom built custom design stainless cell.Thats two customs. The fact that it was a hand built stainless tank wasn't enough for him. However minitruckin is a entry level sport based around the youth for a good part that are working on a budget.I offer my arms base like I posted so everyone can have a shoot.Everything else is a option. My point is minitruckin is outragous when it comes to taking things to far but takes it out of the hands for most when you take something that far.

i think if people stopped taking it as far as they do with some of the projects and parts they build, i thik it would start getting boring. Limits are thare for a reason.....to be broken. Build to your own standards and limitations.....everyones are different.

Okay so back to the original topic. No..I don't know anyone who has used the FBI arms. My friend just finished up an S-10 using all SD stuff. The 5 link sucks w/o lots of mods. The c-arms are VERY well made and weigh as much as my whole Nissan but they look nice.

On another note...lots of folks are very happy with their ART arms and they're cheaper than most all of em. But wait..I don't think they'll lay 26s...damn they're useless then.

Remind me to never have replies emailed to me again.
