The extra costs in the barely legal arms over any other arm that uses the standard bolt in ball-joint is the machining expence of the unijoint.

The shaft, offset spacers, and press cup are all machined in house, and made so that the arm can get good lift and lay big wheels without binding. That and the extra cost of the x-shafts add to the price too.

so switching from round tube to square solid is whats changes the world?

jeesh.

I like them, hell i was just talking about them today to a friend, their a great look. But what makes these not the same old control arms? or more creative than anything else? you swapped the round tube for square....everything else is the same as most other control arms on the planet.

I didn't say they would change the world I said they where different. They also lay on twenty twos without binding. So far thats the biggest rim on a dime.

I know what you said.

but you rag on other companies control arms because "It's the same arm with the same tubing with the same look year after year. You can change the ball joint, cross shaft whatever you want but it's the same tube arm.Nobody wants to be creative anymore."

But how is just using square stock being more creative than someone using round....and changing the balljoint design and style, and using a custom x-shaft, among other things?

Like i said, those arms of yours look GREAT, i love the design of them. But their the same old arms, same old moog offset x-shafts, and more than likley moog balljoints.......Hows that being more creative than everyone else?

I don't understand why anybody's balljoint plates need to be made out of 3/8" plate steel? Its funny because I was just reading SD.com's and its states "crazy 3/8" ball joint plate". And not bashing on anybodys price but $1000 for anything is expensive, even $850! Your trying to market a product to a niche group of people, a lot of young people I might add, who don't have alot of money. The quality may be worth the money, almost always is, but how do you justify it to a 19 year old kid beside saying "well your paying $1000 for a quality product" when he could probably use his stock control arms to begin with.

I think the same about the guy who just made some for a toyota out of chromemoly, badass, but how do you justify $850 for a set.
