Good luck with your project. Make the truck what YOU want it to be and I'm sure it'll cool.

Good luck with the project. Just remember what we do to our trucks has been done for years now. Only way to be 'original' is to give an idea a twist like I did on my suspension. Hope all goes well and keep up the great work and before you know it you will have a great truck.

well to all those who i've offended, take this as my apology. and sorry grant for blaming you when i shouldn't have. i know i came on to this topic the wrong way.
but yes, i need assistance on how to perform this modification.
do i use 16 gauge sheet? and on the trim, i do have to work little by little so the top doesn't seperate, right?

18 or 16 should be fine either way, and yes, go in sections on the drip rails.

Personally, I think trucks with the X cab window shaved looks like ass. It stands out like a turd in a punchbowl. But hey, maybe thats what you want.
But I'd probably use 16 guage, since its such a large panel. 18 guage would warp a lot easier.

did he just say that there were people on here kooler than him? wtf. haha, kind of a strange thing to say. and just a little fyi if you use a k instead of a c when spelling cooler, you lose cool points (and i AM keeping a tally on everyone, results of the coolest m.f. on streetsource will be disclosed in due time)
