also...after that sport truck bash...i hope someone from them reads this...but lately i have been impressed with sport trucks...really nice tech articles, nice features, and good event coverage...yeah there was a time when i would even pick it up on the news rack....but they have came a long way. give em props...they deserve it....and mike has been doin an amazing job, the pages are gettin thicker and u get a poster...how can u beat that? sorry just my two cents

Maybe you guys should charge a buck or two for a show coverage pop shot, i think it would be great! The cry babies would zip it, and you could get another project, and well...Ernie could get another Lac or two, think about it!! LOL

Yeah I made a stupid comment eariler about the show coverage, but it took my 3 times to get my truck to where it is today, and the 3rd time was a charm. I had never met Chad, Ernie, or Mike before Heat Wave, but I got shot for Mini Truckin there and got a show shot from the show, granted it wasn't a huge one, it was still there. Same goes for Fall Fest and Turkey Drag...had never met the guys doing the coverage for them and I got the Editor's Choice from MT at both shows, so like mentioned above build your truck clean, and with enough detail to stand out from the crowd and you'll get the attention you deserve.

if you read the Whaz Up Column you might notice "Send the event information at least SIX MONTHS in advance to..." not that you understand a production schedule but we write the magazine a few months in advance that way it can get printed, and distributed on the newsstands, etc...

I am not in a club as of yet and my truck may get featured somewhere. It's not who you know or blow but how nice your truck is when you get there.

Pretty much everyone is saying the same thing over and over. So yeah just build something new and it will get some coverage. I recently started working there, and I thought things were kind of a monopoly with ST, NR, Acro and a few others, but it's really not the case, I have a whole different perspective and respect for the work and dedication these guys do towards the mag. All in all, just do your thing and keep the drama for your mama.

also about people whining about the people in "big clubs" getting in just because of their club name.....does it ever cross your mind that those "big clubs" don't just accept just anything in their club but have high standards??????? so no shit some of their vehicles get in the magazines!
