If you don't like what you keep seeing, build something that gets featured. Theres only one way to change whats on the cover and gets featured on mags....thats people like the thread starter to get off their ass, build something sick, and show it. Stop bitching and moaning like your cunt-hurt and do something about it.

I dunno, i like seeing the same trucks sometimes cause then you can getout the magazines and find well "heres the bed setup" heres the engine compartment" "he ran thses wheels this time" different paint" I always like the MAG for the stuff they sell in it. I get sport truck also, and i rarely see all the same trucks that are in MINI TRUCKIN. SPORT TRUCK IS WEAK and i will not renew that one. I went without MT for about 6 months, IT WAS HELL. Plus the new issues are thicker. ITs our mag dood, dont talk shit about it =)at least its not tailgate.

Don't like the show coverage? Don't like how they run things? Start your own magazine. Because shortly after that, you will come soon to realize how hard and how much time and effort Mike, Ernie, Johnny O, Gil, and everyone else put into the mags. Not trying to be a dick, but I see these guys at every show workin their asses off. Don't like all the same stuff at shows? Build more clean trucks for them to shoot. Remember, they are doing it for YOU guys. So, bring something clean for them to shoot, thus, different trucks in the show coverage.

LOL.......i got a picture(a piece of my dancing bed) in trucking back in heat wave show coverage in 1990 and I'm not giving up I'm going to build one that will one day make show coverage somewhere. Don't blame the magazine there just covering the show how they see it. I bet there is tons of online coverage that has everyones ride in there that was at the show, its just to bad there isnt room in the magazine for 10 pages of show coverage! I cant complain either we have come along way cause back in the day when I started minitrucking it was a quaterly magazine talk about waiting for the next issue to show up at the grocery store and there was no SSM either to bitch about seeing the same shit either.....

JUST LIKE WHAT MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN SAYING -- GET OUT THERE AND BUILD SOMETHING CLEAN AND NICE THAT IS FEATURE WORTHY AND THEN WILL NOT COMPLAIN WHY THEY ARE PUTTING YOUR TRUCK IN THE MAG SO MUCH ---- THE TRUCKS THAT YOU SEE IN THE MAGS GET EVERY OUNCE OF RECOGNITION THEY DESERVE --- SIMPLY CUZ THE OWNERS WORKED SO HARD TO ACTUALLY FINISH A RIDE -- UNLIKE MANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO JUST TRY AND NEVER COMPLETE A RIDE ----- ----- SO THERES MY TWO CENTS ----

Here we go again with all this and . Why can't we all just and . But I heard through the grapevine that if you with Mike A. then your guaranteed a cover. LOL j/k. But on the real my boy Randy has been in the mag. at least 4 times this year along. He was in an under construction zone in minitruckin a few months back and has had his truck pictured a few other times also. And he had a picture taken after winning the reciprocating saw at Scrapin the Smokies. And I don't think he's even meet Mike. So like everyone has been saying its a matter of being at the right shows at the right times. These people probably just became friends after a photoshoot. So instead of hating behind a computer go out there and build a mini then bitch about the scene but not until you do something. But hey thats just my

If you want to know what it takes to get in the MAGAZINE, just ask Mike, Ernie or the countless guys who's BAD ASS trucks have graced the cover of any magazine. Lots of hard work, dedication, attention to detail and not giving up, but first of all, you have to SHOW. So many truckers come for the party but not the show. How many times lately have you been to a show where the guy doesn't even take time to detail the truck. Just shows you don't care and thats why you don't end up in the mag! "Take pride in your ride" even if its not complete, at least wash it, detail it and maybe, just maybe one of the guys with the camera's will see something that sparks there eye.! Good Luck!

About the whole club thing, I'm in and it didn't help get me in the magazine. I busted my ass and my truck is in the magazine due to that not the club. It was in before Ernie took his position as well. Mike seen something unique in it. I think it was put in to remind all of you where we came from and where we are going today.

Granted being in a BIG Club like has it's advantages. But it is because you and your truck meet certain standards and you have proven to be worthy of association with others with the same respect for our life style. It doesn't mean your the EDITORS.

Enough said!
