I think it sucks to be honest.
Yeah they broke the law, but it is still ridiculous. We dont have inspections in Ne. but what you expect I live in a giant pasture.
But even tractors have strict emission laws.
What is really upsetting is we have all these strict laws and other countries (China) dont have any and are manipulating the world economy because of it.

wow alot of people have many opionions of whats goin on with the emmisions on bikes and noone knows some of the basics facts. i jsut moved to socal to work at a harley dealership, so i am not too firmilar with the emmision laws yet, but i do know the majority of what if going on with the motorcycle world of it. number one, the ca emissions laws are not only fining jesse james, they fined ness around 3 times what they did james, and many many other calif based shops/ manufactors have been fined hard. im going to agree with the guy who said its their fault, but there really has not been to many ways tobuild a custom bike and make it epa legal. this is exactly what happened back in the 70s and 80s with cars when every car manufactuor had to start meeting epa laws, now its motorcycles turn. and it is in every state, not only cali, BUT cali is by far the strickest. there are many opionions and thoughts of what is goin on but thats all they are is opionions. also, harley davidsons are all 50 state emmisions legal along with every single performance part they sell, which is caused by epa laws. sorry to ramble on, just wanted to give people some facts! o ya and the shirt is great, redneck engineering has been using the slogan "we dont give a damn how they do it on the west coast" forever!

2 hours north east is one of the best ski resorts in north america
2 hours west... pismo beach/morrow bay
2-3 hours north of LA
an hour south of fresno
i used to be 20 mins away from freakfest.. but that show went to shit.. but hey now im 10 mins away from dangerzone!
the desert is an hour away (for all my dirtbike/prerunner needs)
the only downside is that theres not much to do without traveling at least an hour.

i live in NW NC,there are no mini's no desert noi good rivers too play in hell we drive 35+ hours just to get to cali. to play. so if you dont like it there try moving east!!!!

When I think of Cali, I think of fake stuck up people. I'm not talking about EVERYONE. Just alot of them. You can't turn the tv on without 90210 this and 90210 that. But at least James did one thing right, he married a Texas girl..

I don't understand why he's being fined for making and selling the bikes. I understand the bike OWNERS not being able to pass emissions and get proper registration, but why fine the shop owner who built the product? They're custom bikes, who's to say what they're used for after they leave the shop?
