lookin at puttin some on the hoopty and the frame is maybe 4" from laying. I got some questions...
Should I just fab some up with trailer balls or blocks of steel? Or should I buy some with the brackets and all, so the blocks are replacable rather than welded on.
Are the ones you can buy tall enough to cover the distance I need?
Are the Ti blocks shorter than the steel blocks? lookin at AVS
should I mount them so the rear edge hits first rather than flat with the ground so they don't break or rip off if they catch a crack in the road?
I wanna put em under the front and maybe inside the frame rail so less noticable.. good idear?
just make it lay frame...
I'm lazy and thats waaayyyy tooo much work for me don't wanna cut the car up either
but if you lay frame, then you will have built in drag blocks!!! lay that mother down, any light it up
Cut something... but serious dont run balls i hear alot of times they break off and become a projectile.... run blocks and i would get the ones where u can replace the steel..... 4 inchs thats alot of gap but do waht u gotta do good luck if anythign make your own
In a way I'd like to, but I'd loose my a/c heater box, have to do a mini tub, a c-notch, probably somethin with the a-arms and do somethin different with the rear setup.
A drop spindle up front will get it very close but my 17" front tires are already 1/8" from the a/c box. The rear has room for another 3" if I can figure out a different setup for the rear bags, the cups are pretty tall.
I just bought this for the dually:):)
..titanium!!!
^^^^ baller^^^
hell I'd go to a boat place and get some magnesium lots cheeper and you can get it already drilled and taped
hahaha magnesium.. that'll put off some white sparks
how much was that Ti bar? I wouldn't even know where to shop for somethin like that
look under metal in your yellowpages
