BioMax's 4-link Article
check it, this is an easy way to have 0 pinion angle change, and not needing 20ft long link bars. no tellin how bad taht would ride anyways.

BioMax what you think about this diagram can you find instant center on something like this? Would this be a good picture to go by setting up bars ? Just trying to soak up all the info i can sorry asking so much but your the man !!!!
When any two bars are parallel to each other the instant center is considered "infinite." That means that the i.c. is states or even countries away and won't offer any dynamic energy transfer. The fact that the rearend is still following an arc set by two parallel bars it will still have anti-squat and roll-steer and the pinion will stay perfect, but the pinion can deviate a few degrees without any issues. So designing a system only to keep the pinion perfect is not the most productive use of suspension motion. Stick to the i.c. being around the grille and you will be quite happy.
ummmmm my cat drools too.
BioMax...do you have a website?

I did, but since I have moved they couldn't tell me that my web hosting was up. So I am having a new one built. I will let you all know once it is finished.
Max So what would be the best setup for more lift? Some one sad that runing my bars parallel is better for more lift.
The way that the off-road guys design their 4-links is with longer bars (obviously) and taking the driveshaft in to consideration, like I described in a earlier post. If really want to be able to drive the truck at all heights then it is more important than if it is only for playing around with.
How much travel are you looking for?
It woundn't be for all the time but some times I want to roll with the rear way up in the air. My lowers are 30" long and i'm trying to set up the upers.
