Tim, if its not much trouble then I guess go for it. I'm going to try to clean mine up and see how it goes. With some acid, or kerosene and a pipe cleaner.

Those are handle bar ends on the mini chopper I built for myself. I had them blown at a local smoke shop. Guy did a sick job on them, and I'd like to have him do a shift knob for my truck.

I wish i could help, i tried to talk like 6 people into sectioning my gas tank, but everyone hemmed and hawwed and basically told me to fuck off. If i could get someone to do it, i'd send you the extra sealer.

1) its prefectly normal for the inside of the filler to look like that. Vented gas caps do just that, vent, and the byproduct is condensation.
2) dont count on the inside of your tank looking the same, I know you checked but if you are worried, have it boiled out at a radiator shop.
3) DO NOT USE A GAS TANK SEALER KIT. The coating will eventually come off and plug your filter worse than the rust flakes will. If you dont believe me, check the prices on YSR50 gas tanks on ebay, an unsealed tank will sell for a couple hundred, a tank with sealer in it will sell under a hundred. The sealer is a temporary fix at best. Boil it out.

haha, the truth comes out! I was just making sure it was'nt some crazy dildo or something, lol. BTW, is there anything you can't build? You need to come down to Arkansas to check the specs on the inline for the rotary gurter in my flux capacitor.

mix some CLR with some water and soak it in there over night. More CRL than water the stronger it will be, u be the judge of how strong u want it.

sandblast it, muriatic acid is so nasty to work with, not healthy at all. Blast it then coat it with the sealer
