Don't be dumb even to report it stolen! All that will you is in trouble with the cops for filing a false report.
This is a civil matter if he is in the same state take it to small claims court.

can not file a small claims case there is no documentation that a transaction has taken place....that is why the majority of the people are advising Ben to report it stolen

man the title is in your hands, go to his house and take the truck, its yours, if any shit happens with cops show the title and it shows that the truck is legally yours, and if he says anything about the money say fuck that its mine for all the shit you put me through. screw him. their is no contract, bill of sale, or anything saying he gave you money, you have the title its yours.

take it to small claims court? I'm guessing you guys used cash during the transfer so small claims court is going to laugh at you because its your word against his. No documents, contracts, or bindings, no case... Not to mention if you take it to court your going to be out more than what your trying to get from the kid. Just take the title with you and go to his house to get the damn truck back.

If you didnt sign the title over to him then I would go get my truck back.

DONT report it stolen, you could get in big trouble for that...there no way the kid can get a tag, or insurance, or sell to anyone with a brain without the title....

Go get the most vital parts of the truck with some buddies. Or what the hell... go get it all. He will caugh up some cash or come pay you a visit asking for his money back.

You had a verbal agreement, likely the policeman who goes to his house will make you surrender the title because as I said, possession is 9/10ths the law, and if anyone he knows saw him give you any amount of money, you will lose in court.
