airlift needs to think of a new design.....their bags suck. i ordered some once and looked at them and gave them away. i got stones and contitechs and wouldnt use anything else. i have yet to try the slams which is prolly next.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a problem with something we sold you!
I have personally never had a problem with AirLift bags on any of my rides, but I will definitely admit that we went through some hell with crimp failures last year. AirLift made changes to the way the crimper attaches the bellows to the endplates, and I haven't had any returned bags since the change, but I think the damage is done to their reputation...
I will still sell them to somebody that wants them, but all of our bag kits come with Slams until AirLift comes out with something better...
FWIW, AirLift has just about the best customer service I've experienced in the industry. Corey has always been quick to help our customers when we call, which means a lot. Of course, it doesn't make up for failing bags, but if they get that dialed in they'll be unstoppable!

ive never had any problems with the crimp themselves but i did lift my truck to fix an air leak and the fitting pressed in the bottom pulled out and the bags were just hanging from the upper control arms. they were 3 months old and had about 2k miles on them. airlift does have great customer service though they sent me new ones within a week. ill definately go slams next time!

its just disapointing that when i ordered them i was told they were out of firestones ( at the time slams werent nearly as popular, april 05), i was also told that the airlifts were just as good as the firestones.

Im just glad that airlift is being such good sports about it and sending out a new bag...

im just glad it happend at 5mph and not 50. Guess this is a leason for everyone...
