so i order my bags forever ago from FBI, at the time all they had was AIRLIFT and they said they were just as good as firestone ( which is what i asked for in the 1st place) well after only 1500 miles, maybe less, the bag and the ring seperated. i couldnt see if maybe i can take the metal ring off and re-attact it.

has anyone else had this problem?they are 2500 3/8 single port

Those bags a pieces of crap. I had 3 different ones do that.
You can call airlift and they will send new ones because the bags have a lifetime warranty against crimp failure.
I would recomend Conitechs.

I had one that did the same exact thing, that band around the middle that keeps the bag from ballooning serperated from the bag. I had a pair in the front of my Taco, and chances are I won't use Airlifts again.

I got Airlifts with my setup and they worked fine for about a year. Then one day I hear an air leak so I checked it out and the ring around the middle to keep it from ballooning had come apart from the bag. So I replaced them with Slams and I wont ever use anything other than Slams again!

Ive blown 2 like that within a month. One was in traffic, and the other one blew as i was jacking the truck up. The ring just popped right off. The third one is about to go boom too. I dont trust them for shit with my life driving down the freeway or in busy traffic. Only reason i kept using them was cause they were just laying around at a friends shop and i needed a bag fast. Ill go back to slams next.

if i switch them out i need them to compress the same hieght. the airlifts are 2.8" compressed and the Slams rs-6 compress to 3"
the slams have i diameter of 6 and the airlifts are 6.8 so i guess that could work.

will the holes line up for the bolts and airline??

right now the truck is stuck at the Nissan Dealership. body drops and blown bags are bad.
