I'm about to take a long ass trip north for a few weeks in my daily. Living in FL, there's not much winter prep involved obviously. But I'm going to be going to snow and all. Other than basic trip maintenence, what kind of special prep should I take care of to handle the temp changes and what not.

just put your stock wheels on, if you dont have them anymore, you can get cosmoline in a spray can and spray it on your wheels. it protects agaisnt anytype of corrosion and wipes right off with kerosene. its commonly used to store machine tools.

I already have stocks. I'm more worried about needing a different coolant, if i should swap to a different tire than an all season uniroyal, and things like that.

hahahahahahahahahaha. you don't need a different coolant. all season will be fine. As long as you don't let your tires spin in the snow you'll be fine.

ok, just wanted to make sure. i've never driven up north. only lived in FL. a few people tried telling me before that you need a lot of different shit up north, coolant, etc. so i figured i'd ask before i did anything.

Weight in the back and winter tires on the rear will help if you plan to go in the snow, and believe me.
