all i can say about this its not the $$$ its the principal. if i paid a painter to paint my house and he painted it the wrong color should i repay him to paint it again...FU#K NO, thats on him and he better go get the right color. period, and if you spend $ 5.00 0R 35.000 bucks your still a customer because the guy that spends 5 bucks today could spend 35k tomorrow, right is right period

Ken -
Take that shit to my house on a Saturday morning and we will fix it here.
As far as them, I was there with you at Slamfest, and I was ready to do ANYTHING needed to back you up.
I remember how pissed you got, and I would have been just as mad.
My opinion is cut your losses and never do business with them again.
Make sure you spread the word about how you were treated also.

Ive also noticed that Cris thats why i said people should hear both sides before commenting and making the situation worse.

I would be upset. $13,000 is a lot of money to spend for something that has to be fixed after it is picked up. Next time(with another shop) write up a contract that states that the shop will pay for any damages incurred within the shop, and as a result of the work of the shop.
I don't know the shops side of the story, but I know good business practices.

I recently had somthing simalar happen to a club member. He was quoted a price to
do work on his van! I guess he wasnt going to make any money on it so he called and said to come pick it up! A few hrs later we where in the parking lot they ditched it in ( with the keys in it) trying to get it off the ground so it could be towed. It was stripped of all its fuel lines, switch box, line where finger tightened, it was really fucked up!!! So count your self lucky... They should have done the job to completion and gotten the best advertisment- WORD OF MOUTH!!! Too bad for them
