ya... im nit picking... on the way home sunday from the LNO show in orlando i was comming down interstate 95 and exited at my exit and went to dennys just over the other side of I95.. comming home over I95 i came to the stop light and put on the brakes and we heard a loud pop and the truck pulled HARD left... i got off the road on overpass and looked the lower left control arm bolt in the front had backed out! thankfully there were ppl with me to get the truck home.. when looking at the bolt that had backed out there was NO thread lock on the bolt at all... thank god it didnt happen when i was doing 95mph down I95...
this all goes to show the quality of there work that they cant even do the simplest of things right.

This is crazy.
If you think a shop shouldn't meet deadlines you're retarted.
If you can't quote a job, meet the deadline and the price, you shouldn't be in business.
Quoting a job is how you make money and get customers.
If you can handle things like that to begin with, you will fail.
And, he should take care of these "nit picky" things. Why? Because they're his fault.
He's losing a $13,000 business card over 500 dollars...
someone is gunna find out what it's like to be BYC soon!

I'm not taking sides, but i do think that maybe he (shop owner) can explain, but that is pretty bone-headed, not running grade 8 hardware, i would have a meeting with the shop owner, and come to an agreement on what needs to be done to make things right. while also letting him know that he narrowlly missed a lawsuit, thanks to the wrong fucking bolts.

i have made SEVERAL efforts to correct the problem with the shop owner before it came to this... i have been hung up on more times then its worth... i have given them pleanty of opportunites and in the confrontation at slamfest i made mention to the fact that i did not have one bad word to say about them, i just wasnt giving them credit for the truck... (infact someone i talked to went to them and told them this).. i was told thanks, but that was a bunch of bull i was not in their booth giving them credit for THEIR hard work... i was also told it was a friendly agreement with their customers to promote for them.. i made no such agreement.. they got paid in full and on time.. i got NO money off for sponsership or for spreading a good word.. to be quite honest im SORRY i took the truck to them and for the shitty service i received...

i know ken and carl and this is a bunch of bull... what scrapen is doing is wrong! i know for a fact the truck sat here at nicks automotive for three weeks apart while they were trying to get it sorted out and they said they didnt care WHO fixed it as long as it got fixed.. the fact that will would have to pay more to get the truck fixed up there then down here is not their fault!! you should own up to your responcabilty... you wanted credit for the truck at slamfest but how can you have credit for it when you wont fix YOUR mistakes???
so what is happening about jen lacy of scrapen customs and vivid reality with that pink and orane flamed s10 for putting the scrapen sticker and business cards on kens truck when he left it to watch the burn out comp at slamfest?????? you would think of all ppl to mess with another minitrucks ride when they werent around at a show she would be the LAST person with her truck all nice and all...

This is a shame. Such a well recognized shop would let little things like this mess up such a major build. Honestly your doing the right thing by letting everyone know your experience with them. This is goin to get some reaction out of them, if they even stay in business after this. I've seen some shops not be able to work on another vehicle after smaller sh*t than this. This could have been dudes life. I just hope someone over at SNC mans up and comes on here at least to hear there side.

that sucks to hear man, I wouldn't be impressed to say the least. I'm amazed that they are treating you so poorly about not wanting to fix the rearend. I would like to see the owners response too.
If it makes you feel any better I thought that they were a really nice company and did really good work, now thanks to you I question that. It looks like they know what they are doing but can fall subject to rushing projects like some other companies I know of. I hope it all works out for ya man.
