sound s like the ignition module thats in the disrtibutor.....i had a friend that had a z71 and it did the same thing yours is doing and we changed itout and BAM! it ran like a champ....

changing that tomorrow,hope it works for me too

was suppose to drive it to the shop friday on my day off and get the rear fenders finished and primed ...

well at lease he not telling us about putting mudflaps on it

did you put some fuel to the injecter

9 out of 10 trucks say:

GM truck no start = fuel pump

ok replaced cap and rotor and it starts now.. but it dies after a couple of seconds...
gotta be a fuel problem.. if i feed it gas it will run so probably fuel pump.. but what about this????? if i feed it gas and keep it running but i try to assist it by trying the gas pedal while its idlein it just falls on its face and wants to die... if im feeding it gas and its idlein smooth but if i press gas pedal and it trys to die is that still the fuel pump ?????????????????
