50/50 2-link, even better. And I thought my idea to fuse the driveshaft and use it as a mono-cantilever link was innovative.
now that would be pretty cool...put like a bearing or some shit on the drive shaft like a carrier bearing type thing and put a bag on top of that...u should patent that idea..it will work! as for te links just do a custom 2 link by cuttin your leafs off behind the axle

I was thinking more along the lines of a reverse mono-link with the bar welded to the center of the pumpkin...2x2 box, 1/4" wall so it'll be beefy, then throw the bag on that, then just the one shock off the middle of the link bar to a rebar/angle iron bridge...
Way cooler than your stupid driveshaft idea Peter...

I don't think I'm even gonna run an axle in my next truck...

go for a full floater, screw suspension let destiny take you where it may, attaching the axle is soooo overrated.
On a serious note, I have a triangulated 4-link and love how it rides, good luck.

Bob Grant and I were talking about a 4-foward and 4-reverse. Link system that would keep the rear end perfectly centered in the fenderwell through the entire travel. If you connected the link bars with bellcranks like a watts link It would work. Way too much work but It would make everyone say...
