everybody apparently looks at this differnet. "IN MY OPINION" there is a lifestyle to what we do. Maybe not everybody is living it but i dont think that people can take that away from us either. Just because some people are not so called "LIFESTYLE MINITRUCKERS" (I JUST PUT A PATENT ON THAT) doesnt mean they should knock those who are. Just as i dont knock the non lifestyle guy. i think were a good mix of everybody. And yes it is sad that some of the "lifetsyle" are jerks but so are some of the non lifestyle guys. its like in the hot rod scene. they have the same situation. The KUSTOM guy dont get along with the HOT ROD guys and the HOT ROD guys dont like the TRADITIONAL HOT ROD guys and the traditional guys dont like the RAT ROD crowd....blah blah blah.

All this arguing is really retarded. theres enough room in our small scene for everybody. And the lifestyle is not all about getting drunk and trashing shit. theres alot of assholes out there like i said before. There are a lot of hardcore LIFESTYLE guys that dont even drink, go to bed early dont party, but there still dedicated to what they do and if you ask them, there lifestyle guys.

Its a bigger picture than most are painting. i didnt even read the comments from marty because it doesnt matter, hes entitled to his opinion. My life isnt going to change because of somebody elses. i do what i do because its who i am. Ive been wearing Dickies and chucks since middle school before i had a license. I wouldnt say that the lifestyle is about how you dress. Its a people thing. Its not just about drinking beer, black socks and flat bills.

Im not a mintrucker because of some lifestyle but because i like minitrucks and when i think custom its a certain way. i live my life the way i live for me not becasue im trying to portray an image. Thats why im more of a lurker on this site. i do things i like not because its mintrucker. i dont take his thread negative at all.

so how long are you guys going to beat a dead horse? i mean fighting on the internet is a lot like competing in the special olympics...even if you win, your still retarted.

if you ask me about dressing one way is stupid why change? just to fit in and wear those work shorts that look like pants i think its funny to see people walking around in their shorts(that are long enought to be pants) never got that part of the mini truckin thing and some of the stuff that guy said i agree with why cant every1 just sit back and respect every1 for their work and their rides?? i been to a few shows and hear peopling talking crap about this or that truck but i bet if you walked past their truck and said it looks like shit they would get mad??

You guys can debate the "lifestyle" aspect all day long, but it doesn't fix anything. Everyone seems to talk about the deterioration of our scene, and how shows are dropping off cause of this or that. The partying has been the same since 98 when i first started going to shows. The one thing i can say i don't see any more, like i used to, is club accountability.

Back in the day, it was a strict rule at runs, if you fuck up, you and your whole club got the boot from the show. I know for a fact that forced us to check our friends who happened to drink a bit too much that weekend.

We all know that doesn't cover everyone being stupid at shows, but it does check the majority. Like it was said above, there are assholes in all genre's of customizing, and you'll never get them all out, but giving these guys consaquinces is one way to ween them down. I know damn well if one guy managed to kick his whole club out of a show for doing something stupid on a friday night, (50 bux per reg, 3-4 hours driving, and missing the whole show, is enough to piss anyone off i'm sure) and you'd know damn well that club either 1 wouldn't let thier boy come to another show, or 2, make damn sure he won't do something stupid again. The time for blaming youngins and lifestyle based people has got to end, and we have to start fixing this our selves. If we don't fix it, it's only gonna get worse.

Black is black, white is white, fuck those who think mini trucking is a gang. Life style? Thats news to me. I live every day just to see the next drag, kick it with friends and make some new ones! Hardcore some say I am, but its just the way I am.
