Here the bed is laid flat on the ground. Look even closer the bodylines of the cab are way further up than those on the bed. Does this tell anyone else that the cab is not fully laid out on the ground or am I just imagining shit? Just my five cents though.

ive been finished reading it for 3 minutes and see no pics.......

hey check this out, i just found out that michellin ps2 255/30/22 = 27" talland perelli 245/30/22 = 27.9

kind of odd but i found in on www.tirerack.com

thats 3/4 of an inch differance.

check for yourself's

yes my point is the 255 is smaller than the 245

I am running 245/35/20 Sumitomos and they are 26.8 Inches and laying Rockers 27inches overall on a 22inch tire if thats the case i can fit them now . I wish i waited on buying my rims and tires now . I could have been running 225/30/20 up front and no clearance problems or running 22s with the same clearance problems . Cant wait to see the truck though

27" that really changes eeeeeeverything.

a 255/35/20 is 27"

NCBIGGJ ALREADY STUFFED THAT SIZE TIRE A LONG TIME AGO.

FUNNY!

HA, AFTERALL THIS TALK AND THERE RELLY NEVER WAS AN ISSUE TO BEGIN WITH.LMFAO!!.

27" OD tall tire. Then ya it'll work. Like others mentioned it's been done. But not on a 22" rim cause rubber band tires that thin didn't exist until now. That's what it all boils down to, is tire OD (Outter Diameter). Hopefully it'll be all completed and painted at Reso for the full wow effect!!!

obviously some of you don't own mazdas, so it's hard to actually see what is going on here. the mazda's rockers fold under. that 1inch flat part you see there under the door IS NOT THE ROCKER, that is still part of the body. the rocker comes under that a good inch and a half, and then the pinch will come down another .5-.75 of an inch. the bed's rockers do not come exactly even with the cab's rockers, especially if the pinch is still intact. im judging via my truck. i just looked at it 5mins ago. but look at every mazda out there that is bodydropped LEVEL to the pinch, the bed will not lay all the way down and there will be a 1.5-2inch gap between the ground and the flat peice.

Come on guys as we stated before the bed is not bolted on! Theres not even bed mounts it is just te old scrap bed that is just layed over the rails! He is not even useing the bed cause he drug the truck so much before that he bottom of the bed sides are gone... Oh and Canrad thanks for all your andvise but as I we stated eariler the suspension is done all we are waiting on is for B.A.D. to send the 6 lug wheels!

I CHECKED FOR MYSELFhttp://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.htmlA 245/30/22 IS 27.8" TALLA 255/30/22 IS 28", i'M NOT SURE WHAT MATH WAS DONE TO MAY YOU THINK A 255/30 WAS SMALLER.

BIGGJ'S TRUCK HAD ALL THE STOCK SUSPENSION ON IT, BUT NARROWED ONE INCH. THE STOCK CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER WAS MOVED UP UNDER THE DASH. THE ONLY REAL TURNING ISSUES THAT CAME UP WHERE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE CAUSE THE STEERING GEAR IS MOUNTED ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE FRAME. BUT THE TRUCK STILL DROVE. AND IT WAS A 245/35/20 ON J'S TRUCK @ 26.8 INCHES TALL ANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD THE TOP OF THE HOOD WAS TUB SO IT WOULDNT RUB. SO IN MY OPINION A 22 WONT FIT WITH CUT ROCKERS. MAYBE TO THE PINCH. THATS JUST WHAT THE MATH TELLS ME. THE PICS OF D.I.B.'S MAZDA LOOKS DOPE AS HELL. IT "LOOKS" LIKE THE FRONT OF THE ROCKER IS OFF THE GROUND. THE NISSAN CAME OUT EXCELLENT, AND I'M SURE THE MAZDA WILL BE JUST AS SWEET. MY EXPIERENCE SAID IT CANT BE DONE, THE MATH SAYS IT CANT BE DONE, BUT MY OPINION IS NOTHING IS IMPOSSABLE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.....
