It don't look normal to me,are they the bolt in type??? If its just the cups not bolt in,did you weld the botton one in??Sometimes if your truck lays and you still have suspension ,like running a small wheel, the bag will suck the top cup in and then when you lift it it go's in crooked...Some signs of this are,it will seem to lift slow or one side will lift higher then the other..I don't know just my 2 cents...

they are the SD bolt in cups and I didn't weld in anything. It lifts normal and lays out on the fenderwells, but i think it still has a lot of play when the tires hit...but should that matter since the top cup is bolted in through the shock tower

there is nothing you can do to it.. the s10 cups from SD have a offset upper cup so you can rub bigger bags up front and not have to hack the frame up. they only go in 1 way and that is how they go, you have them in right. You are just using a small bag so its bent more. No big deal bro.

yes laying out on your fenders leaves a lot of bag left to compress.. i'm on 23.06" tall tires and laying flat, i still have 2 or so inches of play, if not more.. i can pop the valve with 200 psi in it and it barks fills up to 20-30psi but doesnt lift.

they are the SD full bolt in cups.. there is no reason to tack weld them in.. for the 5th time.

on floating cups, yeah, tack em in place, but who the hell uses those anymore? J's come ready to lay on 20's

well as long as it's ok i'll feel better about it, just worries me since I drive the truck every day and can't do blown bags on the side of I-35

since its your daily id double and triple check and make sure nothings rubbing anywhere. check to make sure the frame isnt rubbing the bag when its compressed. i know how it feels man, my mini is my daily and it sucks having to lay outta work cuz something stupid happens to it.

yeah i've checked and drove it 100 miles or so and cut out more today, i think i over-cut it but if the bag shifts over from behing crooked, it may hit the frame

thats how a double convulated(sp) bag is supposed to work.
