look at the lowest honda thread, you can do whatever you want
i think there was a mustange that did that it was a 96 with a super charger sticking through the hood maybe that will help you out
I THINK IT IS POSSIBLE IF YOU JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND DONT RUSH IT.BRACE THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU CUT AND IF YOU DO DECIDE TO TRY IT I WANT TO SEE DETAILED PICS JUST TO SEE HOW YOU DONE IT
a long long long time ago (I think in like '97) there was a civic in the under construction section of Minitruckin that was actually unibody dropped, basically just like bodydropping a truck but there was no frame. They cut the floor, firewall sectioned all of the structure under the hood and dropped the core support down. There was no way in hell a hood was going back on it either.
I believe it could be done, but there would need to be tons of rebracing. My civic's sheetmetal was thin as sh*t and mad it extremely deficult to re-weld because all of the seamseal the use to seal those type of cars. Good luck on your build.
