can someone tell me why it would not work to do a real body drop on a honda accord with out building a frame, could i cut the floor and lower the body?
thanks..
and how much do you think i can see a body kit for?

You can do that. Make sure to brace the car well before you cut the floor out. In unibodies it is very structual. Then cut it out and weld it back in. I've never looked at an accord before but one idea I had on my civc was to cut the "frame" rails off the bottom and plate it back up. Then rerun all the brake and fuel lines because they would be crushed at that point with the rails gone.

it wont work. youll end up with a pile of scrap metal. The closest thing you can do possibly is what james said ^^^^about the uni rails
not really a body drop but you can cut out the strut mounts and raise them to your desired high and that lowers the entire car. you will need to rerun some hardlines though
in the rear, what do i need to do with the upper a-arm so it does not hit the spendle?
my civic was damn low...in the front...back needed tubbed....
just reworked the strut towers...
