1/8th is thicker then your .083 walled backhalf rails Corey.. but hey, i'll be using the same backhalf rails
Factory frames are screwed then. Alot are 1/8"

true... just make sure its braced up pretty good. I wouldn't do a whole frame with 1/8" though.
It can be done, but why??

What you are forgeting is that the factory stuff is actually engineered. With material that you are concerned about, try not to build in any "stress risers." A stress riser can be anything from a weld in the wrong place to a really ridgid bracket. It's really hard to explain without getting way to involved. 2x3x.120 should work in 95% of the applications out there. If you want to tow I would go 2x4 tho. Just my oppinion, but my biggest fear is a customers vehicle breaking
What is an average price for a custom frame?
I start a $10k for a frame and it can easily double from there.
How can a frame be worth $10,000?? For a few more thousand dollars, I can buy a brand new car. I don't know, maybe i am missing something

he omitted that it is a racing off road truck frame, 10k is a bargain.
even the full tubular frames he makes for minis would easily cost $10k. especially when theres an indy rear, custom tubular control arms all the way around, etc.
think, your average bag job job is in the $3-5k range and thats using most of what the factory gives you.
