i'd start off with a subframe, or firewall back frame. the front end of a truck is more than getting 2 pieces of metal square.

my apologies if i always come off as talking shit. i am super scarcastic by habit, and have an odd sense of humor, but ask anyone on here that knows me, im the nicest guy ever, and will do anything for anyone.

the truth is cris is just as smart as he is sarcastic, he just keeps it in the shop instead of on ssm... talk to him on AIM or email and see. and yes cris is one hell of a guy. hes put up with alot of stupid questions while he built the clip for my truck and then helped me load it up in his muddy driveway at midnight after i forgot straps to tie it down with. for great help.he built a kickass clip for my ranger and after seeing everything that went into it, the first 3 foot of frame is the hardest to build.

these are all performance based books, they wont tell you the best way to lay your truck out on 26s, but they will tell you info on roll center, anti-dive, bumpsteer, torsional stiffness, and alot of other goodies...

Like Ben said, use a frame table. It will save your ass in the end. Spend a few weeks just building the table, because if the table is off, so is your frame.

i agree....built mine w.o a table...wish i woulda made one...would have made things alot easier...
