what cris is getting at is that this is some serious work and it looks like your in way over your head when you have to ask the question is a frame table necessary, there are numerous websites out there that have plenty of info on chassis fab so do your homework first and your final result will be better.

^ yea but if the design is shit due to lack of research you are putting yourself and others on the road at risk.

fuck yes build one. And spend some time making it PERFECTLY straight and level where you will be working. your truck will go together alot smoother. being off 1/8 at the front of the frame may be off up to 1" at the back and is alot more work to fix later than spend another day to prevent shit like that. Youre going to need to ask questions on alot of stuff but be careful who you ask on more important ones especially on here. Somebody might say only use 3x3x1/4" on a minitruck frame but 9/10 fabricators will agree thats unneeded extra weight and overkill on rigidity. 2x3x3/16 is more than enough. Take your time, measure more than twice and WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING even if its bullshit measurements like from the center of the second hole in the frame horn to the transmission x member. Itll help you later on or at least be another double checking point. Good luck man.

i'd start off with a subframe, or firewall back frame. the front end of a truck is more than getting 2 pieces of metal square.
