I use a Canon Rebel.
If you are going for a DSLR I would go with a Canon 5D.

I just bought myself a canon 20D... takes some great pictures! Also picked up a fisheye lens for it, as well as a 28-105mm lens and a 18-55mm lens.

i can vouch for this camera being a professional photographer for 20+ years. the quality is amazing and unsurpassed by any camera out there. i have shot full time for 17 hotrod magazines with this camera.

My camera is a Kodak EasyShare DX7440 4 Mega pixel and for the price i couldn't be happier for a point and shoot picture! I can just walk around shows with it on auto and it takes pics in the sun or in the shade all the same!

I have a Canon digital SLR Rebel. I love it. I need to get a better lens, but the kit lens, and a cheap tele-photo lens are doing me just fine for now. Whoever said its not the camera, but the knowledge of the shooter was dead on. I got a book called Understanding Exposures by Bryan Peterson, and I can't say enough good things about it. I thought I knew a good bit about photgraphy, but now I realy understand it. I highly recomend all amateur photogs read it. Will make a world of difference in your ability to set the camera up for a great shot.

That's why I like mine. Don't have to worry about a bunch of settings. I do change them sometimes but mostly just point and shoot.
