calling all photographers

what kinda cameras are you guys using? my camera has taken a poop so its time to get a new one and i'd like to get a nice one for good quality pics.

I'm not really a photographer but get a digital SLR, don't get another digital camera the quality difference is like night and day.

most mags are shooting with a Canon 20d, although there are some now shooting with the 5d. Canon also makes a 10d that can produce some nice stuff. Try looking up the prices at:

yea i know prices are insane on a really good camera but im only wanting to spend around 500ish. and damn i was lookin at that website and found some for over 20g's!

I use a Kodak EasyShare DX6490 for my show coverage since 2005. I got the camera for $400 at wal-mart. It's 4MP but it does the job fine. You can get a 6MP for around $400 at Wal-Mart too.

d50 is a great camera, i also have the kodakdx7590.. really nice "point and shoot" for cheap (well if under 500 is cheap) but it takes really good pics, look at my photobucket, http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y36/BK2LIFE/hickam%20auto%20show/
