How old were you when Minitruckin started, Lance? Only 50 or so?!!! Everything good starts in CA and migrates east... live fallout.

There is no one place, back in the day my uncle was the first guy to have a chop[ped car on the east coast which went hand in hand with what the west was doing. There were no computers so who knows who was first.

So cal for sure what we all know as "mini-truckin'" and the real hardcore cutting and getting as low as possible began with the first body drops - Pat Nichols Ballistic and David Collins Project X...

but way before these old fukrs there were the crazy vanners that phil speaks of ask cheorokee how it was in the 70s and early 80s, i was still playing with GI Joes

It started when people got off the boats from Egland,, Put 44 inch wheels on there wagons! Spokes taller then there wife! Thats minitruckin!! But for real...the BAss part of all autos started in FL.That state has been bumpin since way back! In the summer of 89 I saw alot of minis in the South! It would be hard to say where it started...I just hope it never ends!!

I had a neighbor with a early s10 blazer layed out in like 86-87, The blazer was in truckin in the late 80s and called "just duckin around" It was from San Dimas...

Sportruck.com has a club directory with a club called Texas Minis- according to their tag line, they've been active since 1987... anyone got a minitruck club older than that?
