i c, may not be a bad idea then, ull definitely be better of in the long run if u strip it now!!
Btw...no problem man, anytime
i would hit it w/ 80 grit till you get close to the metal. then block w/ 80 grit and a long board all down the sides then prime n block prime n block then paint if there is no body work

way to ruin it fucker
is epoxy primer the best thing to spary over ur car or truck after u strip it back to bare metal ?
DEFINITELY!!! Just make sure u sand it real clean with some 80 grit or 180 on a DA and make sure u wipe it off with some kind of a metal prep though!!! The prep reallyl helps with better adhesion of the primer!!!

Im not sure with the paint ur thinkin of, is it supposed to be something new?? But as far as single stage goes...if its a solid color and u can spray that shit go for it!! Ive never sprayed a complete with and i wont because i know base/clear to well to chance a fuckin it up with somethin im not real experienced in sprayin!! But like i said if u or somebody u know can spray it, its just as good as any base/clear paint job!!
