I am not sure if you are trying to install without a blow through.
If not, the only way is a center console/enclosure, hope you have bucket seats.

Yep, way too big to go behind the seats.

I have bucket seats and im planning on incorporating the amp into the front of the console, but i dont want the sub where it can be touched easily. Ill have to come up with something a little crazy. im just worried on it sounding right...

Care to explain? I have a pair of 8w7s on a 500/1 and I love the SQ.

I actually think the 500/1 will be a perfect fit for the 10w7.

your going to have to down fire the sub that will make it sound good. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h92/90maz/Image002.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h92/90maz/tahoe10.jpg

Have you ever SEEN a downfired W7? The way that they are designed, pretty much makes downfire impossible. You have to remove a retaining ring to peel back the surround and mount the sub in the enclosure UNDER the surround. NO screws are visible at all.

Downfire = NOT a good idea for a W7.
