custom painted cell phones

whos ever had one custom painted...i took my sidekick2 apart and sanded and smoothed it out.. and i sprayed a royal blue base coat on it and its drying right now.. just curios if anyone else has painted one

that's a great idea....I have a treo 600 that I am using like an i-pod in my car, can you paint that to match my car?

i had my old one painted
i cant figure out how to take the new one apart. it has a screen on the front i dont wanna break it

thought bout 'striping mine up but i drop it all the time or launch it across the garage, probably not a good idea lol

well im taking it super slow... i just stripped the original paint the other day... (Sidekick 2's are so easy to take apart) and i just used krylon fusion patriotic blue for the base coat.. no need to primer.. wet sanded it after a few coats and then i went to the model car section at walmart.. and used kustom kolors by house of kolors and picked up the pearl blue kandy klear.. like.. a 4 ounce little bottle.. and airbrushed over the basecoat with it.. and i just finished it with regular clear coat ... its coming along great.. ill take a few pictures when my batterys in my camera charge... i picked up all the materials for about 10 bucks at walmart... easy kustom mod that looks killer... no one will have the same phone as me now
