Ive been helping all my friends with their trucks for about 3yrs now and my truck always gets thrown to the backburner. Then some chick rearended me and it sat for like 8 months. I started getting burnt out on it but one day I just took a little cruise and it all came back man. Some times you just need a little break.

I lost interest at the beginning of the year. I'm more into fast cars and off roaders now. Cruisfest was 20 minutes from my house and I ditched it to go fishing if that tells you anything. So my truck is for sale or trade if anyone is interested
I wouldn't go to Cruisefest if it were in my backyard.
definately take a break! i took about a year off and just did shows with my company and the buzz and desire to keep going built up so bad i cant stop now! Slammin and jammin and the ///RA All Star show always spikes my interest again!!
i know how all ya feel, i start three damn projects and then have no money to finish any. you need to take a break and watch a couple videos of draggin, that always puts a fire back under my azz
I have come to a similar realization. I don't want to drive a vehicle that is as modified as mine is anymore. I took the front off of bags just so I could have less stuff to worry about, and I have never loved my truck more.
The other conclusion that I have come to is that no matter what I do, how great my paint looks, what wheels I have, I WILL STILL BE DRIVING A 94 S-10 WITH 170,000 MILES ON IT!!! With my truck, I thought the next step would be an LS1. It would cost a shitload of money because I can't do the fabrication or install, but it would be worth it, right? Wrong. At the end of the day, my truck is only worth 6,000 at the most. My interior, fully fiberglassed with stiched flames in the seats, Billet specialties wheel, subs and video and DVD, will NEVER have the same quality, fit and finish as say a stock 3 series BMW
So what is my plan? I'm going to keep my truck as it is, work my ass off at $20/hr, drive it to school everyday, and buy a used luxury car. In doing that, I can have everything that I want in a vehicle. Looks, power, quality, and class.

i dont believe any of us are doing this to get rich. we do it because we love to do it.
Decide what you really want. Having a one off custom isn't for everybody. I sometimes think about all the driving time I have missed out on because of wanting to go "all out" with mod's. I live check to check myself, sometimes throwing money at your truck can get tough. Gonna keep on crackin away with mine, I have too many regrets on past projects I have sold.
DONT DO WHAT I DID.....
I sold my dream truck to some kid, and I still get on this site and look for it EVERYDAY.
Getting another one isn't worth the trouble, especially since I "rubbed" so many friends who worked on it the wrong way,
Keep it, hit some shows, and I gaurantee you will be back on it in no time!!!
