losing intrest...

yea i went through the same thing, i even but my dime up for sell in my yard then one day i just looked at it and realized how cool it was and had to keep it best decision i ever made

shows always re-motivate me

im gonna go out on a limb ere and say pretty much everyone goes through a little drought every now and then. Just take a break for a little while form it. Go to some shows, save a little cash and then when your ready to get back into it, you'll have money to throw at it, like crazy. Just take a break and catch up on your frineds and all, and eventually, you'll realize how much you miss it and go head first right back into your truck.. Take this from someone who has a mazda that is bodydropped and has been working on it for the last 4 years off and on and still far from done..

my truck sat under a damn ceder tree for 6 months not a good place for a truck but i got burnt out on it and had to do something else for a wile also my first build witch takes longer I would think

just fuckin sell it and save up and do somethin clean, like a vw passat, audi or benz-o....white man baller status

i always loose intrest in my truck......then someone will piss me off than i run out-side and cut more on the poor thing.....

im kind of in the same boat but have lots of motivators calling me everyday ordering parts, thats the number one reason im still going strong, when i started the paint process on my truck about 8 monthes ago i just thought it would take like 3 monthes to get it done and after about 6monthes i started saying fuck it and i stoppped caring about my truck and didnt even care about the outcome, then one day this kid called me, hes been ordering little parts to his air kit at a time, he said, hey josh, when is your truck gonna be done, i saaid, shit man i dont know, could be a month or 6 more, not to sure, and he told me that hes been following the progress on it for the last year, then i thought to myself, wow, if my truck can motivate someone else to build something, it should be able to motivate me to finish it. ive realized that when it gets done it will get done and be every bit worth it, but for now ill just keep making sure each step goes perfectly, thats all i can do. keep your head in the game and just keep pushing it man, it will get done.

I lose intrest in my stuff all the time.....what usually happens is Ill give er hardcore till I either get frustrated,lose intrest or get made at the truck......then I take a break,and end up werkin on something else for a bit....eventually I get back to it,but theres over half a dozen partially finished projects in the yard...2 of them are so close to done,one only needs about a weekend of werk,and I start lookin at them,thinkin,man wouldnt it be cool to drive that thing,then it gets finished...LOL.....so the average project for me takes about 4 years....HAHAHA

sellin my truck was one of the best things i did with it. I got it, built it, had fun, got bored, and let it go. Letting it go was hard becaus of the work i had put into it, and it looked good, but i was bored with it. just let it go, take a break and come back to building when you feel the time is right
