dito just fyi, get some plastic cups u dont want to keep and some cheep paint brushes and some THICK rubber gloves if ur gona use por 15. the shit DOES NOT come off your skin for atleast 2 weeks.

would this be my best choice if painting silver? for a top coat?

Yea, that stuff will turn out nice. And depending on the color so the Por 15 you buy it will turn out different. I would do a silver base for that stuff. When you go to buy Por 15 you can choose which color you want. I'm hoping to be spraying mine in about 2 weeks.

And like James said, if you brushign it on, go get a bunch of $.59 brushes and disposable cups and gloves. If you get it on your skin, it has to wear off. I'm pretty sure it took more than 2 weeks last time I used it.

I am going to use P-15 for a hard scratch resistant base and then paint over that. what every color I go with.

Powder coat is good to.

When you use that POR-15 can you use it over body filler? Since you have to use the top coat for the UV thing do you need to keep the basecoat the same color as the top coat?
