question

ok,i jus got my yota bagged right wen i was under it cuz i wanted to fix a vibration with the exhast i saw that wen it was lifted all the way,the drive shaft was out of the little cup on the transmission ,it wasnt all the way out but it was out,so i lowered it and it lookedd like it went in alil but i cant c it wen i lay it out,so my question is,is that normal?
