Charcoal canister?...

Does anyone know if a tacoma will run without the charcoal box?...And if not, does anyone have an idea where to get one? I tried all the local junk yards in the southeast and no luck. Any help would be great. BTW...it is a 98 2rz

u dont need it.well except to pass emissions, i ditched mine

accidentally drugg through mine(98 2RZ also) truck still runs GREAT. dont worry though, there pretty much worthless.

Only thing you might get is a check engine light....

yea i tossed mine... but it did throw a CE... still runs great

yea runs just fine, i just upped the idle speed.
