On my tahoe it has stupid body moldings...Well I know how to take those off but there is alot of adheasive still on the body and heat is takeing forever to strip it. What can I use other than goo gone, heat and things like that and still have the paint come out in good shape. Will Acetone hurt the paint because Iam sure acetone will take it all off but I dont want it to take the paint and clear off behind it. lol so let me know thanks
use denatured alcohol...it works wonders!
back when i was detailing, we used lacquer thinner and plastic rasor blades.. or a heat gun and a plastic rasor blade. just make sure your rubbin the thinner on the adhessive only.
Just go to your local paint supply house and tell them you're taking glue off, I've forgot the name of the stuff but its made by 3M. Takes it off with no problem and it doesn't bother the paint at all
a eraser wheel works great. u can get it at your local paint shop. takes the adhesive off great with no harm to the clear.

ok so those rubber wheels work good and I can get them at a paint and body shop. Might give that a try becasue I dont like puting chemiclas on my paint really.
yeah we use those eraser wheels at the shop and they are great, get it right off, and dont hurt the paint
goof off adhessive remover works good, and rubbing compound works afterits all gone.
