k i got my truck painyed bout a lil more than a year ago,till recently i didnt know that behind the panels in the inside of my bed it was rusting cuz wen water got in the bed it stayed there.so i took the panels of and i saw alota rust(i took them off cuz i saw rust popping out on the outside of the bed)i got a screwdriver and started to stick it on the edges and it just went thru,how would i go about sloving this problem:getting rid of the rust and maing sure it wont pop back out,here are pics.

when i had my toyota it was an 87 also you can buy the coners of the bed and they wernt that expensive and then just paint them to match the rest of the truck

I would cut out that rust and weld in some new sheet metal.
