Thank you for all of the prayers and thoughts for baby Jaykob. He came off the ECMO machine on Monday which is a HUGE answer to prayers. The doctors said he responded so well to the treatment. He was able to get back home to Greenville on Wednesday when he turned a week old. He is still on the ventilator. They tried to take him off Thursday night and he stayed off of it for a good 10 hours but he was just working his little lungs too hard so he was re-intubated the following morning. Although, I was excited that the tube was coming out, I knew that it was only a trial and that he may go back on it, so I wasn't completely disappointed when they put it back in. I just want our little man to get all the rest he can until he is good and ready to come off the ventilator. Every day shows improvement, but I know we still have a little ways to go. We haven't even held our baby or heard him cry yet, so please pray that he'll make a quick recovery and thank you for all the prayers that have gone out already.

Sounds like he is pulling threw it.. Doctors are amazing. Hope it keeps going up from here on!!!

I have been praying for you and Jason and Jaykob since day one. I cant imagine what you all are going through. I know I have never meet you, but I know Jason and if you all need anything at all...please dont hesitate to call. I will continue to pray for you all and hope that he recovers quickly. Please keep us updated.
